We will hold a leading position by playing aggressively-Team Manager Petrovic

Comment from Team Manager Petrovic the day before the J. League 25 Sec. against Montedio Yamagata

The match we will play tomorrow will also be an important match. We played against Montedio Yamagata four times including training matches and we have three wins and a draw with them. However, I told my team this morning that our past results would not matter as it may well be the most difficult match for us to play.
If we think we will be okay as we have never lost against the opponent, we will definitely lose the match. Montedio Yamagata has to play every match for all they are worth in order to survive in the J1. If they do not win most of the matches they play, they won’t be able to survive. For this reason, I think they will play against us at full stretch. As such, all we should think of now is to win the match by holding a leading position by playing aggressively against them so that we can please our supporters and all those who are concerned. After the match against Montedio Yamagata, we have tough league matches lined up for us against Kashima Antlers, Shimizu S-Pulse and Gamba Osaka. For this reason, we definitely have to win the match tomorrow.
I thought Yamagata played well when they played their previous match against Shimizu S-Pulse though they made some mistakes and had a penalty kick. As this was the case, we must play with high concentration tomorrow. Spiranovic and Despotovic have rejoined the team after playing for their national teams. While we have some players who are suspended from playing, since all our players conditions are well, we will play the match with the best members we can currently have tomorrow.
