Urawa Red Diamonds
Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific

Urawa Reds is promoting the United Nations program "SPORTS FOR PEACE! Project" with its partner, Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific, with the aim of realizing happiness and peace through sports. Based on the idea that "Sports are battles, but there are rules," players practice "rule-based battles," and the club aims to become an extraordinary space, "Reds Wonderland." Many people have come to know about the existence of "SPORTS FOR PEACE!" through activities such as support for areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, grassroots international exchange, and putting a special logo on player uniforms.

Since 2014, based on the concept of "building a stadium full of pride!", we have clarified the position of "creating a safe stadium" as one of our most important activities, and we have also sought the understanding and participation of our fans and supporters. I decided to call We believe that passionate support with rules will deepen ties with friends and lead the team to victory. We will aim to create a safe and comfortable stadium together with everyone who fights together with "passionate support with rules".

Regarding the "building of a safe stadium", we will continue to value dialogue with our fans and supporters. Our stance of respecting everyone's autonomy will not change, and we will not change our view that excessive regulation will hinder the freedom of support and encouragement.

In order to maintain a voluntary support environment, we will strive to improve safety by strengthening our efforts, including security measures, to comply with the "six key prohibited items" that we will focus on among the prohibited items.

A proud stadium cannot be realized by strengthening regulations and security systems. We need the support of all our fans and supporters. We sincerely ask for the understanding of as many people as possible and for the voluntary participation of as many people as possible.

<Message from Dr. Noel J. Brown, Friends of the United Nations>
At the 2005 General Assembly, the United Nations established the "SPORTS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE" project.
It goes without saying that we learn the importance of interacting with the world through sports and learning about the cultures of different countries, but above all, the beauty of sports lies in the fact that there is fun in respecting the rules.
The United Nations believes that in sports, the spirit of always caring for one another and the spirit of competing within the rules are precious. I hope that the players and supporters of Urawa Reds Red Diamonds will proudly convey to people around the world who love sports the spirit of fair play and a tolerant heart from this stadium.
