We will continue to fight through the remaining three matches despite today’s regrettable draw–Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 31st Sec match against Vegalta Sendai

It was a pity that we finished the match with a draw. However, our players played at full stretch until the last moment. Our team lost a goal two minutes after the game started. But, our players performed in a calm manner after that and were able to finish the first half of the match with the result of two to one by coming from behind. However, Vegalta Sendai caught up with us at the beginning of the second half and we lost our third goal during extra time. Looking back at the overall match, I believe it was our team’s performance which deserved a victory. Though the match ended in a draw, our players performed really well. Any team that fights against Urawa Reds comes to the stadium with a strong motivation to win. Vegalta Sendai seemed like a different team compared to two weeks ago when they played against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. They played with a very strong determination to win today. When we play against such an opponent with a pressing desire, it is always difficult for us to fight well. Though we finished the match in a draw today, we will continue to fight through the remaining three matches without abandoning our hope.
