We had such a regrettable result-Team Manager Petrovic

Comment from Team Manager Petrovic after the J. League 5th Sec Match against Jubilo Iwata

First of all, though I am not sure what to say until I will be able to put myself together, we had such a regrettable result today. It is especially so for those Reds players who worked so hard with all their might until the last moment of the match. We should feel proud of ourselves for playing so well against Jubilo Iwata during the first half of the match by controlling the ball in our possession in the away match. However, it was such a pity and sad that we ended up with a draw by giving a penalty kick opportunity to our opponent in the last minute.

Last but not least, I would like to announce that one of the Urawa Reds great leaders passed away today. The team’s first team manager with a great sense of humanity who also was a general manager passed away today. I would like to express my deepest condolences to his family, relatives and acquaintances. May his soul rest in peace.
