We are to score three points by winning the match no matter what

Comment from Team Manager Volker Finke on the day before the 2010 season J. League Thirty first Sec. against Gamba Osaka
I am not sure how I can express about the team’s current situation. Since we have many injured players, I am not sure how we will work out the mid fielder formation at this stage until tomorrow. Yosuke Kashiwagi may be able to join the team again.
The injury Ugajin received during the previous match turned out to be a lot worse than I had originally imagined. For this reason, he will not be able to play in the match tomorrow. Though he tried to participate in training this morning, he had to stop doing so as he still had some pain.
Hosogai can not join the team tomorrow either. He may be able to join the team next Tuesday. However, nothing is certain at this stage.
As for Naoki Yamada, the good news is that he has recovered to the point where he was able to participate in the team training session held today. He can now participate in game-style training. However, his condition has not fully recovered. So, he can not play in official matches yet.
Regarding the players such as Spiranovic, Tatsuya, Naoki Yamada and Umesaki, they now have something to aim for as the team now will be able to play in the next round of the Emperor’s Cup. Having the opportunity to play in the next round of the Emperor’s Cup is a wonderful development for them as well.
Considering the current situation, the starting line up members will probably be different from the previous ones. Ugajin can not play in the left side position but I am not sure if Yosuke Kashiwagi will be able to take the position until tomorrow morning. Nothing has been decided at this moment. We are not sure what position he should be used in or who should be replaced by him. We do not even know whether he would be able to play as a starting line up member. Nothing is clear until tomorrow. Since we still have many injured players, our situation has not changed much from the last match we played in against Jubilo Iwata. Even though our situation is very tough at the moment, we would like to gain three points by winning the match tomorrow no matter what.
