The important thing is to concentrate on what we have to achieve-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the J. League 2nd Sec match against Nagoya Grampus

There is nothing new to be said from me. The fact that every match will be a tough match always stays the same. Nagoya Grampus is a well experienced team led by a fantastic team manager who has been with the team over the past five seasons. Just by looking at their performance over the past five seasons, they have always ranked high in the standings and have also played in the ACL. Against such a team, all we have to do is to play with our utmost effort.

During the last season, our team often struggled to achieve good results after we played a good match. It is important for us to go back to the basics such as fight well and run hard without being carried away with the last good result.

We would like to perform well just like we did in the previous match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. We were leading the match up until 60 minutes into the match at that time. We want to do better for a longer period of time tomorrow.

I am not sure if it is to do with the team’s past experiences but Urawa Reds have often failed to achieve positive results when playing home matches during the last season. However, we should make the most of the advantages we have playing in front of our fans and supporters in our home stadium and this is what I tell my players. We will fight again without any fear tomorrow.
