Press conference after the match against Kawasaki Frontale

Comment from Team Manager Hori and Player Yosuke Kashiwagi after the ACL Quarter Final 2nd leg match against Kawasaki Frontale

Comment from Team Manager Hori
Our players remained highly motivated and well concentrated from the beginning of our preparation through to the end of the match. As a result, we are able to move up to the next stage and I am so grateful for our players for this. I would also like to express my appreciation to our fans and supporters for creating the great atmosphere for us to win today.
As we lost the first goal soon after the match started, it made it harder for us to play well. However, our players kept their mental strength and performed hard without giving up until the last moment. The fact that our opponent team had ten players also helped us in the end. Our team had managed to score several goals while playing the match patiently. This shows that we were able to execute what we had planned to achieve as a team, though not perfectly. I feel our team was able to gain further strength for our next match.

Comment from Yosuke Kashiwagi
Though we had faced a difficult situation as our previous result was one to three, I had prepared myself for today’s match in communication with Team Manger Hori and the team while having confidence. I am very pleased that this has translated into a positive outcome for the team today. I trust my performance today was not that bad either.

After our opponent team lost one player, we didn’t stop our attacks against them. We had moved the match forward by managing risks. I believe we have more chances of moving up to the top if we can continue to play like we did today. I hope all of us will work hard day by day in order to play good soccer
