Our performance was worthy of the victory-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 5th Sec against Kashima Antlers

The match started in a very crazy and unusual way as three goals were scored within five minutes into the match. Right after we lost the first goal, we caught up with our opponent and scored another goal to lead the match. For this reason, I felt that the players were bustling around until about 20 minutes into the match and were playing timidly. I thought they made quite a few mistakes. However, after that, they gained their usual tempo and were able to make several good attacks, which led to us scoring our third goal. There were several good moments in their offensive in addition to the goals they made. Though the team was not able to follow it through to the end as they were not precise in their last pass and did not run fast enough, they did pick up after 20 minutes into the first half of the match. I thought they were very good in their offensive.

During the second half, Kashima Antlers were more aggressive in taking some risks. We had to make swift attacks against their plays. I thought both teams played neck and neck but we managed to win the match with the score of three to one. By looking at the overall match, our performance today was worthy of the victory.

I regard Kashima Antlers as a very good team despite their recent results and their current standing in the ranking. They were performing really well. All they need right now is one good victory. I think they will come to stand higher in the ranking sooner or later and I know they have the potential to do so.
