Comment of the Gert Engels(Team-Manager)
“It was quite a tough game to start with. The opponent team put many players for defending. In the first 20 to 25 minutes of the game, there were many cases where they defended well and made swift counter attacks against us. In many cases, our team members had to play one on one and the pitch condition was not ideal either. Therefore, it was difficult for us to pass the ball around. For this reason, we were fighting rather than running for the first 20 to 25 minutes. After 30 minutes into the game, we were able to get the ball and made successful passes to each other. Around the 35 to 45 minutes into the game, Takahara managed to strike a shot that hit the goal bar. Our team gained the momentum in the second half of the game and members were able to play in the opponent’s side of the field relatively long. Members created some opportunities and Tatsuya also had a shot that hit the goal post. There were many good moments and our team scored a fantastic goal finally. We had several problems when finishing the game. We were putting too much of our effort in defence for about 10 minutes or so. There was a pitiful moment from a counter attack. We should have remained calm and should have kept position of the ball. However, looking back at the 90 minutes, it was most important that we finished the game by 1 to 0 in the end. We finished the game with 3 points in the standings and kept the sheet clean. This was very good. Winning the game in an away game was also another great point. I am quite pleased with today’s game.”
