Having gained one point will lead to our progress in our coming matches – Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J.League 29th Sec match against Ventforet Kofu

We knew the match would be a very difficult one. There is no team we can easily win against in the J1 League and Ventforet Kofu in particular is a team with an organized defense and few goal losses.

During the first half of the match, we were not able to exert what we aimed to achieve. We didn’t do well in terms of our off-ball movements and timing of ball-passes between players. I guess our opponent players found it easier to keep our team under control as we failed to perform well.

We also made a few mistakes passing the ball. When playing against a defensive opponent, it is difficult to break their defense if we are not able to move the ball fast.

We managed to make attacks as we aimed during the second half of the match by improving our passes and off-ball movements. However, we finished the match with the score of 0 to 0 without being able to make the most of the chances we created. Though we played better in the second half, we were not satisfied with the draw. However, having gained one point by drawing the match will lead to our progress in our coming matches.
