After playing the match against Kawasaki Frontale - Team Manager Finke

Comment from Team Manager Volker Finke after playing in the J. League Thirty Three Sec. against Kawasaki Frontale

Loosing a goal only after one minute into the first half of the match had a negative effect on many players. Since we had a rough start, every player had to show their strong determination to win and help each other to perform well from the beginning of the match.
As we had such a stance, we were able to perform well especially during the second half of the match. Every player was facing the right direction to achieve the same goal as one united team. I was able to feel a great pleasure as one of the managers during the second half of the match.
Looking at our scenario, some of the people who have been critical about me may say that I was not able to gain three points again. However, one thing we should not forget is the fact that our team has improved themselves steadily and we were able to show the process and the result during the last half of the match today. Since our players played hard as they did, it was certainly regrettable that they were not able to score three points by winning the match today. However, I am pleased about the level of the performance our players showed during the second half of the match.
The only thing that was missing would be a last minute bit of luck. For example, if Edmilson was able to score another goal at 93 minutes into the match when he was in front of our opponent’s goal, we would have been able to score an additional goal during extra time.
