We will work hard to score three points in tomorrow’s commemorative match-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the J. League 11th Sec match against Kashima Antlers

As you all know, there is a lot of attention given to tomorrow’s match as it will be a commemorative match celebrating the twenty years of the opening of the J. League. I do not think it is just a coincidence that the commemorative match is planned to be played between Urawa Reds and Kashima Antlers. It is such an honor for both teams to be able to play in a match designated as a commemorative match. Kashima Antlers have won the most numbers of titles over the past twenty years. As for Urawa Reds, we have attracted the most numbers of spectators into stadiums over the same period. For such leading teams in the J. League to be able to play against each other in a very special match like the one held tomorrow will be a privilege not only for the teams but for the clubs as well.

I trust that the players from both teams are well prepared to give a wonderful match performance tomorrow for their supporters as well as for those in the soccer sphere. Kashima Antlers is a very strong team. Kashima’s players not only have good individual skills but also unite well as a team.

Our team has recently been struggling a little and has scored only one point over the past three J. League matches. We really need to score three points tomorrow. We will give our utmost to be victorious tomorrow. Our team was not able to spend much time on training over the past five matches as we played in both the ACL and the J. League. Though this had been the case with us, we have a strong desire to win the match to get three points tomorrow. We will be able to spend more time on our training next week as we will have one week interval after tomorrow’s match. We would like to finish the series of matches we played so far with a positive result so that we can gain a good momentum to forge through the forthcoming J. League matches.
