We will refresh our minds for the next match-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 10th Sec against Jubilo Iwata
I thought the match we played today was a very challenging match for both teams. This was because both teams only had two days to prepare for the match as they both had a match to play on Thursday. For this reason, considering the condition of players, it was a tough match to play for both teams. During the first half of the match, our players performed as they did in the previous match. Jubilo Iwata players’ response was always faster than that of our players and the opponent team often had the second ball in their possession. As a result, they often pressed our team. For this reason, our players were not able to create time for attacks as they struggled to get the ball in their possession.

However, having said that, I do not think our team players allowed their opponent to make attacks effectively. I believe Jubilo Iwata is good at making attacks. However, our team players did not allow them to break our defense. Though we lost two goals, both goals were scored by crossing plays.

We started the second half of the match with Jubilo Iwata being ahead of our team by one goal. But, I thought our players were able to make good attacks by pressing them well during the second half. Under such a circumstance, our team managed to catch up with the opponent. I thought we had several good chances to score a third goal to lead the match. However, we were unable to make the most of such opportunities. Instead, we lost another goal to our opponent. Obviously, it is regrettable that we were not able to win the match today. However, we should regard gaining one point in an away match as a positive thing. We must now refresh our minds for the next match.
Our players reserved the result at one stage during the second half of the match by displaying a strong desire to win the match. Unfortunately, they lost the second goal in the end. However, this type of thing happens as we play a number of matches in the season. In any case, we must learn from the past mistakes to do better the next time.
