We will do what we must do at full stretch-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the J. League 23rd Sec match against Shimizu S-Pulse

Tomorrow’s match will be another tough match as usual. Shimizu S-Pulse is currently in good shape after going through a difficult time. I regard them as a dangerous team with aggressive and agile players. Recently, they have been outdoing their opponents in their handling of the ball. However, having said all this, we have also had very good training throughout this week. All we have to do is to do what we must do at full stretch. I know our team is capable of doing exactly that.

Over the last few matches, our team’s performance dropped drastically in the second half. I have discussed this with my players. I have to wait and see how they will respond to this issue. But, as far as I can see so far, our players have resolved every issue they have had after every match. Our marathon called the J. League now has 12 matches or 12 km to go. The further we go, the harder it will get. I can see a lot of similarities between a marathon and the J. League as both become tougher the closer we get to the end.

At any rate, we will step forward one by one to get to our goal. It will be a very tough match tomorrow. I think the next few matches will determine the teams which will be among the top teams and those which will not. We will be united and do our best tomorrow so that we can continue to be among the top teams in the J. League.
