We will do our utmost to play our style of soccer while enjoying the derby match–Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the J. League 28th Sec match against Omiya Ardija

As you know, a derby match is a very special game. Looking back at the past few derby matches against Omiya Ardija, our team has been struggling to win against them. I don’t think any words of motivation or pressure are necessary for our players as they will come to the stadium tomorrow naturally with a strong desire to win without me saying anything to them. As their team manager, I think it may be necessary for me to control their strong fervor for victory.
I am not sure if our players have been feeling under pressure or nervous and cautious but our players have often struggled to display their potential in their performances in past derby matches especially during first halves since I started to lead the team as the team manager. It is important for our players to control their emotions in particular during tomorrow’s match. There is no doubt that tomorrow’s match will be a hard one. I expect the match will be filled with much physical contact. It will be essential for us not to lose in such skirmishes and to gain control of the ball when we have second ball chances.
Our team has not been able to win the previous two matches against Ventforet Kofu and Shonan Bellmare as both matches ended in draws. As we had lost a goal against Kofu at the very end and were not able to win against Shonan, our players have a strong sense to win our next match no matter what it takes. As we will be playing at our home stadium, there will be so many supporters at the stadium cheering us tomorrow. We will do our utmost to achieve a victory with our supporters on our side.
