We performed professionally-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 14th Sec match against Ventforet Kofu
Today’s match turned out as we had expected. We could have scored a goal a little earlier. Nonetheless, we performed as we had expected before the match. I think our team performed today in the most professional way we have seen over the entire course of the season so far. If our team had been able to perform as we did today during our matches against Oita Trinita or Simizu S-Pulse, we might have had another five points by now. However, our success today is a result of what we have learnt from such losses and drawn matches in the past.

What our team tried to achieve first was not to lose a goal before our opponent. When Ventforet Kofu kicked a long ball from a distance, our team managed to stop the opponent team to create a critical opportunity. Our team scored a goal while delivering the game very carefully. We also created further scoring chances after we scored the first goal.

Since we were not able to score any goals for a long time, I decided to take more risks by putting Yosuke Kashiwagi in a defensive midfielder position. This worked out well and the ball started to move forward more. As a result, our team was able to make more attacks against our opponent team. However, I would like to make such decisions carefully whether to take more risks or not depending on the match in the future.

After all, I am sure our team could have shown a better match today. But, considering the mercury reached its highest so far this season, I think they performed very well today.
