We are to fight through the match with a strong determination to score three points by winning the game

Comment from Team Manager Volker Finke on the day before the 2010 season J. League Twentieth Sec. against Shonan Belmare

Since we only had three days in between two matches, the most important thing for us was to recover ourselves fully from the previous match. It was especially vital for those players who will be playing in tomorrow’s match to have fully regained their conditions.
As for our players’ condition, I had a discussion with Yosuke Kashiwagi and Yuki Abe. They told me that they would be able to play in the forthcoming match in their current condition. In terms of the players who are currently injured, I guess I do not have to name every player out as I assume you are already aware. There is not much difference in the number of injured players from our last match.
I believe that you were able to feel the strong determination to win from every player of our team during the previous match. I would like to expect the same determination from them during our next match. We would like to score three points by winning the match no matter what.
It is certainly important to us to have a strong determination to win and fight all the way through the match when we are on the pitch. But, we should not lose our broad vision at the same time. We need a good balance.
