We aim to defeat our opponent in an all-or-nothing cup match – Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa the day before the 94th Emperor’s Cup second round match against Urayasu Soccer Club

We will play in an official match tomorrow after about a six-week absence. During this period, our players have worked on what we aimed to achieve through the training camp and practice at the Ohara Soccer Field. Though we have had few training matches against strong teams as part of our training, we will give our best to show what we have gained over the last six weeks during tomorrow’s official match. I am expecting the team to have a good match tomorrow with a sense of tension building up towards next week’s league match.

As you know, a cup match is an all-or-nothing match and we will never know what to expect during the match. We often see a surprising result after a cup match. For this reason, it can be a dangerous match. I believe our opponent will come to the stadium with a very strong motivation to win against our team in desperation. As this will be the case, we must also have a strong sense of determination to defeat our opponent tomorrow.
