Team Manager Mischa - press conference after the match against Montedio Yamagata

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company J. League 2nd Stage 2nd Sec match against Montedio Yamagata
We had a difficult match. Montedio Yamagata players had more stamina than us and their movements were sharp. I thought they were picking up more fifty-fifty chance balls and second balls than our players.

It was quite understandable that our players were suffering from fatigue as they have played one match after another during a short period of time in high humidity weather and rising temperatures. These conditions had reduced their stamina. I thought our players made a few judgment and ball pass mistakes due to suffering from fatigue.

Though today’s match was a very challenging one for us, it was lucky that we were able to finish the match with a tied result.

Our players fought through until the very end with all their might under very difficult conditions and their tenacity truly paid off. Over the long course of the season, it is not possible for us to win every match we play with an ideal performance. There are times when the team cannot perform in the way they wish to perform just like today. Nonetheless, our players upheld a strong determination until the very end of the match and finished the away match with a draw. This is something I would like to regard as a positive.
