It is extremely regretful not being able to finish the season as a top three team–Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 34th Sec match against Cerezo Osaka

I am extremely disappointed. Though we have had a very good season, we spoiled it with our last three matches. I think Urawa Reds should aim to remain as one of the three top teams in the ranking every season. Though this is the case, we were not able to achieve this aim and I feel extremely regretful for this. Today’s game also evolved into a typical lost match. Our team had a very good beginning by controlling the game. We also scored the first goal, which gave our opponent hardly any chances to outperform us. However, we started to lose several goals, which made it difficult for us to seize the victory. It is difficult to explain how we lost our first and second goals. However, we often lose goals in this way. Urawa Reds scored the most numbers of goals in the J. League during this season. We now know clearly what we must do during the next season. We must win a title next season and we will have no excuse for it.
