Attacking our opponent until the last moment without giving up led to our victory – Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 7th Sec match against Nagoya Grampus

It was not an easy match. It was a very stressful match. But, it was certainly a good and substantive match for both teams. During the first half of the match, our team created so many scoring opportunities. However, we were not able to score goals by making the most of such opportunities. As is often the case with soccer matches, when this type of thing happens, a team loses a goal and then their opponent team opens up a lead. Soon after the start of the match, our team allowed our opponent team to score a goal in an unlucky way. However, our team remained very calm after that to wage attacks against them. Though our team attacked the center and sides in various ways, we were not able to score goals. I can’t find answers as to why we have to create so many opportunities to score a goal. At any rate, the first half of the match finished as it did. When many scoring opportunities created were lost, our opponent team started to regain their calm. However, we managed to score goals under such a circumstance and won the match in the end. Our team kept attacking our opponent until the last moment without giving up. I think this led to our victory and how we played the game was deserving of the victory.
