After playing the match against Shonan Bellmare-Team Manager Finke

Comment from Team Manager Volker Finke after playing in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup qualifying round third sec against Shonan Bellmare

We really had hoped to score three points by winning the match today in order for us to play in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup final tournament and we were able to score these important three points today.
I used different players in several positions as starting line up members this time. They were the ones who had not played as starting line up members for the past few weeks. Players like Yamada, Hosogai and Ugajin have always played in matches as starting line up members until now. Though they still played in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup match this time, it is not necessary for them to always play as starting line up members as you saw today. At the risk of repeating myself, we use young goal keepers in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup matches. To be honest with you, I think there were times when our team played much better in the past than they did today. Nonetheless, we won the match today and it was a very meaningful victory for us considering the chance we have of playing in the final tournament.
As for the content of the match today, our team did not respond well after we scored our first goal. After we score a second goal, we nearly lost another goal as our players did not handle several situations well. Our team did not move well as one. This is something we must change and improve. I can not just let the team move on as though nothing happened without having them contemplate this very point. I would like to discuss this with the team.
In order for us to win decisively, we were hoping to lead the match with one more goal. I think we had several opportunities to do exactly that. However, it turned out to be a very difficult match in the end. Nonetheless, I am pleased with the result of the match this time as we were able to earn three points by winning the match today.
