We are fully committed to be on top by the very end-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 17th Sec match against Yokohama F-Marinos

Both teams played fantastically today. Both teams deserved to win the match though our team turned out to be the one that lost. During a long soccer league season, there are times like this that we find ourselves in at the moment. The goals our team lost today were as a result of the mistakes we made and all three of these goals were scored by our opponent team’s crosses.

After Yokohama F-Marinos scored the first goal, our team players reacted rather positively to the loss and scored two goals. We finished the first half with the result of two to one. However, after our opponent caught up with our team by scoring another goal, our team was not able to make the most of another scoring opportunity created by Yosuke and Mercio. As a result, our opponent ended up scoring their third goal.

We had different members to play today’s match in a bid to improve our defense. Despite such efforts, our team was not able to nail today’s match. I guess we are going through such a phase at the moment. But, we would like to make improvements quickly to leave such a situation behind soon.

Today’s defeat was entirely different from our previous defeat against Kawasaki Frontale. I must say our team players fought well until the very last moment of the match today.
