After playing the match against Tokushima Vortis-Team Manager Finke

Comment from Team Manager Volker Finke after playing in the Third round of the Emperor’s Cup against Tokushima Vortis

I have no intention of making a lot of comments about the match we had today. Our aim today was to win the match and to have the chance to play in the next round. We have achieved the goal. There was much more to be desired when it comes to the content of the match. However, at the same time, our team has won the last three matches in a row despite our difficult current condition. This is certainly something that I have to commend the team for. I believe that the result was made possible due to our team members’ good performance.
We were able to confirm today that the team has been developing further as one even under a difficult condition and this is fantastic. I really hope that Hosogai and Sanou will come back to the team from the national teams in good condition without any injuries. At the same time, I sincerely hope for the early recovery of Sergio and Ugajin and their return to our team training as soon as possible.
Considering our current situation, we are at the point where we can not afford to have another injured player. For this reason, I really hope that the number of players who are able to join team training will increase as soon as possible.
Finally, I thought that the atmosphere in the stadium today was fantastic. By taking this opportunity, I would like to commend the ground keepers. I thought the condition of the pitch has improved dramatically. To be honest with you, it was a big surprise for us. For this reason, I would like to express my appreciation to them.
