We will launch an offensive against our opponent-Team Manager Petrovic

Comment from Team Manager Petrovic the day before the J. League 28 Sec. against Gamba Osaka

Every match will be extremely important for us. The match we will be playing will be regarded as a national derby as two big teams will be playing against each other. Since our opponent is now ranked at the top in the ranking, obviously, the match will not be an easy one to play.
However, having said this, if we can perform as we did during the previous match against Omiya by having good ball control and showing good mentality, I am sure that we can perform well at their home ground.
Of course, we should not forget that Gamba Osaka is a fantastic team. Every member of our team must remain highly concentrated and perform well by understanding the situation we are in currently. Gamba Osaka is a very active team and outer side half players often come into the centre of the field. For this reason, we must be mindful about coaching and following the opponent players’ movement. It will be important for us to play a compact match at all times.
When we are launching our offensive, our center forward players will hold an important key. During the previous match against Omiya, Ranko held a central position at the front in keeping the ball and thanks to that Genki, Naoki, Yosuke and Marcio were able to play effectively. It will make a huge difference to us whether someone can hold such a central key position at the front line.
I think this will also be the case tomorrow and players in the center forward positions will hold a very important roll when we launch an offensive against our opponent. We certainly will not play a defensive match in an away stadium. We must go and win the match by launching a good offensive.
