We are to play again as a challenger

The victory Urawa Reds achieved in the J. League Seventh Sec match against Kawasaki Frontale put the team at the top of the rankings. Now, the team will play against Jubilo Iwata in Saitama Stadium on Saturday 24 April.

Norihiro Yamagishi makes a comment about how important it is to brace themselves for their eighth J. League match.

Comment from Norihiro Yamagishi
The victory we had in our last match does not provide any advantage for us in our next match. It is certainly expected by the people supporting us for more and better results. But, each and every match we play is a real competition for us. It is imperative for a team which is capable of winning and is strong to nail every home game they play. Certainly, we are trying to achieve this very aim. From this point onward, we would like to aim to score three points from every match we play.
Jubilo Iwata has two highly capable top attackers. They also have good players in important positions such as in the mid field and sides. I think it is important for us to prepare for the match against them as a challenger rather than waiting for their challenge. I will remind my team of this very idea again before the match tomorrow.
