Team Manager Mischa - press conference after the match against FC Seoul

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the ACL Group Stage MD2 match against FC Seoul

I had expected to have a very tough match today because it was our forth match to play over a very short period. We played today’s match not only in such a short period but also after a long return travel from Sydney.

On the other hand, FC Seoul had one week to condition themselves after they fought against Shanghai SIPG FC last Tuesday. They were in a lot more advantageous position than us. However, once the match started, we were able to carry it out better than what we had expected.

It won’t be an exaggeration when I say that FC Seoul is one of the strongest teams in Asia. But, thanks to our players starting off the match so well and having the strong determination to win, we were able to play well and win against them today. Our team’s performance for the first 20 minutes nailed the match and determined our victory. Our players performed marvelously until about 70 minutes into the match. After that, they started to show their fatigue from playing a series of matches over a short period of time. Nonetheless, our team did well throughout the match.

We finished the match by a large margin today. But, it doesn’t mean that this will be the case for our future matches. For this reason, we will brace ourselves for the upcoming match.
