"Lifesaving Training - Lifesaving Training Promotion Program" implemented

On the 23rd, with the cooperation of the Japanese Red Cross Society, a "First Aid Training Course - A Training and Promotion Program to Protect Lives" was held for fans and supporters at the Saitama Stadium Clubhouse.

Urawa Reds aims to fulfill its club philosophy of creating a "safe, comfortable, and exciting stadium full of people," and is working to create a safe and secure stadium, especially during home games.
Up until now, medical professionals such as doctors and nurses, as well as security staff and operations staff, have worked together to set up a system for responding to injured or sick people and providing emergency medical care at the stadium and to run Trial. However, given the recent increase in emergency medical care cases at J.League Trial venues, we believe it is necessary to work towards creating even more effective, safe and secure stadiums.

As part of this effort, a first aid course was held for club staff in November, and efforts are underway to improve emergency response capabilities.
The aim of this training course was to allow fans and supporters to become familiar with life-saving efforts and to increase the number of people who can respond appropriately in life-saving situations, both inside and outside the stadium.

The training was based on the "Life-Saving Training and Promotion Program" implemented by the Japanese Red Cross Society, and included practical training on the steps from discovering an injured person to reporting it, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (chest compressions and artificial respiration), and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator).

The participants listened attentively to the instructor's explanations and were seen checking each step carefully during the practical sessions. The participants also actively asked questions during the training, and there was even specific exchange of ideas for emergency situations, making the training lively from start to finish.

Through this training course, as many people as possible will gain knowledge about lifesaving, and as this circle expands, we will work with each and every person who visits the stadium to create a safer and more secure viewing environment.

Urawa Reds will continue to work together as a team, with the club, management staff, fans and supporters working together to achieve our philosophy of a "safe, comfortable, exciting and packed stadium."
