Urawa Reds would like to announce that on July 11th, both parties agreed to terminate the contract with Kai Shibato.

Regarding Shibato, we have confirmed actions that appear to constitute a breach of contract. Therefore, after discussions with him, we have decided to terminate his contract by mutual agreement between him and the club.

Our club considers the contracts we have with all players and team staff to be crucial to maintaining the credibility we have as a professional sports club. We require all players and team staff to faithfully fulfill the contracts they have signed, and in the event that any conduct in violation of the contract is confirmed, we will respond honestly and fairly, regardless of their position or track record.
