Yoichi Naganuma post-tournament comments on the J.League All-Star DAZN Cup

Following the J.League All-Star DAZN Cup held at MUFG Stadium on the 13th, Yoichi Naganuma shared his thoughts on participating in the event.

(What were you looking forward to at the J.League All-Star game?)
"I was looking forward to it, but also kind of apprehensive (laughs). It's not often that I get to play with players I usually compete against, so I was kind of apprehensive, or rather, a little nervous."

(He played as a left-back, the same position as Urawa Reds, right?)
"When we were attacking, our momentum was upward, so it was different from our recent play. It was almost like we were playing with a three-man defense. I'm glad it ended without any incidents."

(In the semi-final match against J2/J3 EAST-A, he was seen scuffled with Hidetoshi Takeda, during a corner kick.)
"Hide came along with the attitude of, 'Oh, I'll go with the most dangerous person' (laughs). But it turned out to be a fun day, half serious and half entertainment."

(Were there any interactions with other participating players that are unique to the All-Star game?)
"I wasn't thinking about it that hard, and since I knew all the players in J1 EAST by name and face, it felt like we were all just talking to the person next to us."

(You're about to go on break; how do you plan to spend it?)
"I want to get plenty of rest, because the new J.League season will start in the summer, and I think everyone will be unfamiliar with the conditioning required for that, so I want to prepare to have a good start to training camp."
