Regarding the insulting behavior by the players (Second report)

We would like to inform you about the subsequent actions taken regarding the insulting behavior (raising the middle finger) directed at Urawa Reds supporters by Ado Onaiwu during the first leg of MEIJI YASUDA J1 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE Round against Fagiano Okayama, which took place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at JFE Hare no Kuni Stadium.

Regarding this matter, after interviewing the person in question and verifying the facts, Sports Director Horinouchi conducted another interview with the person on Tuesday, June 2nd.

During the interview, Onaiwu expressed deep remorse for his actions and offered his sincerest apologies to all those who support Urawa Reds for the great inconvenience and worry he has caused.

However, the club determined that the conduct in question is unacceptable under any circumstances, goes against Urawa Reds philosophy and Urawa Reds players' philosophy, and is also contrary to sportsmanship. Therefore, on Thursday, June 4th, the club decided to impose the following disciplinary action.
