[Comment Takuro Kaneko]
"I would like to offer my deepest apologies for the inconvenience and concern I have caused due to my inappropriate behavior during Trial.
As a member of the soccer family and Urawa Reds, I have behaved in a manner that shows a lack of sportsmanship, which is something that is never acceptable for a professional soccer player who should be setting an example for children and others.I am keenly aware of my own immaturity and feel deep regret for my actions.
Today, the J.League Disciplinary Committee notified me of a four Trial suspension. I take this punishment seriously, and during this suspension I will reflect deeply on my actions and reaffirm my awareness and responsibilities as a professional soccer player.
I will discipline myself so that I will never make the same mistake again, and I will work hard to become a player that people will support again.
Once again, I would like to apologize to all those involved, including the referees, fans and supporters, teammates, club staff, and our opponent Yokohama F・Marinos, for the great inconvenience caused. I am truly sorry."
[Comment from Sports Director (SD) Satoshi Horinouchi]
"As the head of the men's top team, I would like to offer my deepest apologies for the four-Trial suspension imposed on Takuro Kaneko by the J.League Disciplinary Committee.
As the person in charge of the players, I feel responsible for allowing this situation to occur.
As the club announced the other day, whatever the reason, any behavior that shows a lack of respect for the referees, who are part of the sport, will never be tolerated.
We take this incident very seriously and will strive to thoroughly educate our players and prevent recurrence, as well as strengthen our support system for players and reaffirm and enforce the club's code of conduct.
We would like to once again offer our deepest apologies for the inconvenience caused to all those involved, including the referees, fans and supporters, our opponent Yokohama F・Marinos, and everyone else involved.
We would like to ask for your continued support for Urawa Reds."
We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused to the judges and all other parties involved by this incident.
As a club, we will make every effort to thoroughly educate our players and prevent recurrence so that such an incident will never occur again.
