Announcement of Urawa Reds Art Exhibition for People with Disabilities 2024 “LIVE TOGETHER!”

Continuing from last season, we are pleased to announce that the 2024 ``LIVE TOGETHER!'' art exhibition for people with disabilities will be held at all Urawa Reds home games at Saitama Stadium starting March 3rd (Sunday).

story
The relationship between Urawa Reds and the members of the social welfare corporation Minuma Fukushikai Koboshu began about 10 years ago.

At the time, Koboshu was a facility for people with severe disabilities, but I want many people in society to know that no matter what disability you have, you can live your life and work your way. Based on the thoughts of the staff at this facility, an activity has been started to disseminate information to the world through creative works. Urawa Reds staff members who sympathized with this way of thinking began to visit the facility, and this relationship began.

After about 10 years, the long-awaited art exhibition for people with disabilities at Saitama Stadium was realized in the 2023 season.
A new work by Aya Watanabe, an artist affiliated with Koboshuu, depicts a plane taking off from a packed Saitama Stadium to the world, after which Urawa Reds were able to win the AFC Champions League for the third time. This was an experience that made us strongly aware of the power of art and the spirit of artists.

In December of last year, the players were able to tour the workshop, and the bond between Koboshu and Urawa Reds grew stronger through the warm exchanges, with some of them moved to tears at the chance to meet the players. It's getting deeper.

“Expressing” is the very essence of human life.
The title, ``LIVE TOGETHER!'', includes artists with disabilities who put all their energy into their works, from the players playing soccer on the pitch to the fans and supporters who support the team with their voices and clapping in the stands. The name also represents our desire for Saitama Stadium to be a place where everyone can express themselves, live together in the present, and feel happy.

This time, we will be introducing works by artists who are highly acclaimed around the world, with the theme "From Saitama to the world! 11 active artists."
In addition, four new Urawa Reds themed works by artists affiliated with Koboshu will be exhibited.
