We will take this defeat seriously to do better in the next match-Team Manager Mischa

Comment from Team Manager Mischa after the J. League 16th Sec match against Kawasaki Frontale

Today’s match was the worst match we played since I assumed the team manager position of the Urawa Reds. This is to say our team’s performance deserved the loss we had today. We lost three goals very naively during the first half of the match. We then lost another goal in the second half. When the team lags behind the game by three goals, it becomes quite difficult to play well. And there was no doubt that our opponent team players were running around better than our players during today’s match. I feel very sorry for our supporters who cheered for us. However, our team has played good games constantly over the past one year and a half. But, these things also get forgotten rather quickly. In the soccer world, a team sometimes lose a match like we did today over the long course of a soccer league season. Having said all this, I will certainly take this defeat seriously. I was not able to bring our players to be in good condition before today’s match. I would like to make the most of the lesson we learnt today to do better from the next match. Another match for us to play awaits on Wednesday. I am certain that our team grows stronger from today’s defeat. I trust that our players take out their frustrations from today’s defeat in a positive way in the forthcoming match.
