On the 8th, a welcome ceremony was held at the Kin Town Football Center in Kin Town, Kunigami District, Okinawa Prefecture, where the Okinawa training camp is being held, featuring Mayor Nakama Hajime, Kin Town's mascot "Kin Term-kun," and other residents of Kin Town.



Deputy Mayor Tsukasa Kaneshiro gave a welcoming speech, saying, "This year marks the 10th year of Urawa Reds' training camp. A lot has happened over the past 10 years, but I am truly happy to welcome you all again this year. Also, thank you very much for allowing us to hold the Kin Town Youth Soccer Class yesterday. I believe that you had a great impact on the children, not only improving their soccer skills but also in terms of their life experiences. I hope that this year, at the Kin Town Football Center, you will not only improve your individual skills, but also your organizational skills, and, under the guidance of Coach Maciej (Skorja), you will all review your tactics and make great progress. Finally, I hope that you will do your best to avoid injuries and to help the team win. This season is a short one, lasting until June, so I hope that you will work hard during this short season and think of it as an opportunity to aim for the top spots. We are REDS! Let's do our best together!" After this, bouquets were presented to Coach Maciej Skorza and Takahiro Sekine.



Next, the team received gifts of "Ryu," "Matsufuji," "Kin Agu" and "Sanpin Tea" from Kin Town, where the team is training camp, "Kin Taco Rice Retort Pack" and "Kin Agu" from Okinawa Prefecture, and "Mineral Water" from ASBO STAY HOTEL as get-well gifts. These were received by Samuel Gustafson, Ryoma Watanabe, Matheus Savio Takuro Kaneko Yoichi Naganuma, Kaito Yasui, Yasui Kaito and Hirokazu Ishihara.



Finally, coach Maciej Skorza gave a speech, saying, "Thank you all for your warm welcome. I am happy to be able to return to Kin Town and Okinawa Prefecture. I am grateful that we are able to train every year in such a wonderful environment and atmosphere with your warm support. The pitch is always great, and the training environment improves every time I come here. (Due to cloudy skies over the first two days of camp) We are now just waiting for good weather, but we cannot ask for that.
