Courtesy visit to Saitama Prefectural Government and Saitama City Hall ahead of the 2025 season opening
On the 5th, with the start of the 2025 season just around the corner, Representative Makoto Taguchi, Home Town Headquarters Director Yakushiji Tomoyuki, Sports Director Satoshi Horinouchi, and Tomoaki Okubo paid a courtesy visit to the Saitama Prefectural Government Office.
First, they visited the Saitama Prefectural Government Office and greeted Mr. Tsunehiro Ida of the Urban Development Department. President Taguchi said, "We had a training camp in Okinawa for about three weeks to improve the team's precision before the start of the season next week. The players, team staff, and club staff will come together and aim to win the J1 League this year." He continued, "This year, the Club World Cup will be held in the United States in June and July, and 32 of the world's best teams will gather at this tournament. We want to spread the name of Urawa Reds to the world as a representative of Saitama and Asia." He also expressed his enthusiasm for the world tournament.

In the governor's absence, Director Ida of the Urban Development Department delivered a comment from Governor Ohno, saying, "In the 2025 season, Saitama Stadium will be filled to capacity for every Trial, dyed entirely in red, and I want you to win the J1 League for the first time in 19 years, and make the names of Urawa and Saitama known throughout the nation.
