Yasui: “I am here now because of your support. I have nothing but gratitude.”

On the 4th, after the match against Cerezo Cerezo Osaka in Round 3 of the Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League, Kaito Yasui talked about his impressions of his first goal in the J1 League and his gratitude for the support of the fans and supporters.

(What was your honest impression of the moment you scored the goal?)
"I was honestly happy. First of all, I'm happy that I scored the goal of the come-from-behind win, and I think it was a goal that we all scored because everyone took it to that point. ”

(I think mid-range shots are one of your appealing points, but how did you feel the moment the ball came in front of you?)
“I tried to hit it without trapping, but there was (Takahiro) Akimoto nearby, and I think Akimoto also wanted to hit it, but I was confident, so I called out to him from behind, ‘Through! I think I went to a good place because I was able to relax and hit it.”

(Isn't there a good flow of seizing opportunities and producing results?)
“I was confident that I could compete, so it was a disappointment that I couldn’t play in the opening match and the match against (Yokohama F.) Marinos. I was able to show good shots in training. So, I think that's why they let me in as a member this time.

(Originally, you may feel that your position is one row behind, but Manager Maciej Skorza also said that he tried Yasui under the top during the training camp. He recognized that he could play like that. Isn't it done?)
“I think that Coach Maciej would like to use me in the 10th position (bottom of the top). I also said, ``If there is a chance that I can play under the top without being able to play as a defensive midfielder, I will fight there.'' It's only a short time But I think that kind of thing came out as a result.”

(Last season in your first year as a professional player, it was strange that you had few opportunities to play when you heard about your reputation within the team.
“To be honest, I felt a lot of frustration. There were times when I felt bad about training, but many players told me that it would be meaningless if it rotted. Many players cared about me and motivated me.This year too, there are many people who say, 'You can do it, so you'll be fine.' There are players who understand my strengths, and I think it's important to put yourself out there."

(Did you think that the goal scene was decided before the ball came, the moment it was hit, or while looking at the ball?)
“I felt good when I kicked the ball, but I thought it would be determined by how I felt. I was conscious of hitting the ball when it came, so it felt like I was on the shot. I didn't do it, but I was told before the game, 'If you have a chance, hit it.'

(I think you wanted to be in the game and decide the outcome, but how did you imagine that you would actually be able to do that?)
“I felt that I had to show myself desperately somewhere without knowing when the chance would come. I thought it would be difficult to get .It was under the top, and it was easy to understand and the goal was closer, so I thought that I could appeal by scoring there.I was conscious of that point. I think that the play will change if the position changes, and it will take time to adapt, including combinations, but communication with the players is important.”

(There was a hero interview after the game, and how did it feel when you went around the stadium alone after a little behind the team?)
“I really felt that they were rooting for me. I always had a negative thought that I was always going around with everyone and that I would not be seen. It was my first goal in the J League. It was my first time scoring a goal and winning with my own goal, and when I was walking around alone, I could hear the voices of the fans and supporters saying, "Thank you." I think that I have been able to get it now, so I was only grateful.”

(Although you are from Saitama, did you have a fondness for Urawa Komaba Stadium?)
“When I was in my second year of (distribution economics) university, I played here against Urawa Reds in the Emperor’s Cup, and I have many memories of Urawa Komaba.”

(Do you remember the atmosphere at that time?)
“At that time, there was also a lot of cheering, but I don’t think it was as much as today. I was

(You say you are conscious of the goal, but did you do anything special, such as practicing shooting while staying behind?)
“It’s not that I don’t practice shooting because I’m staying behind, but that doesn’t mean I’m doing that much. Rather, I think it's better to put pressure on yourself while the coach is watching.

(Were there any responses during the overall training?)
“There were quite a few scenes where I decided, so I think that gave me a good image.”
