On the 21st, "Pride Dreams Saitama Talk Festival 2023" was held at Sayama Civic Hall, with Takuya Ogiwara of Urawa Reds and Akari Kurishima of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Reds Ladies participating. Participants from Saitama's leading sports teams and talk shows were held, and a good time was had by all who attended.



Pride Dreams Saitama was established in March 2010 by a sports team representing Saitama Prefecture, with the catchphrase "Make Saitama more energetic through sports!". We are continuing our activities with the desire to spread the environment where people can become familiar with sports by letting as many people as possible know the wonders of sports.



In addition to Urawa Reds Diamonds and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Reds Ladies, Osaki Electric Handball Club, Omiya Ardija VENTUS, Chifure AS Elfen Saitama rushed to the venue for this talk festival, Saitama Seibu Lions, Omiya Ardija, Saitama Broncos, Saitama Ageo Medics, Toda Chuo Medics Saitama and Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights participated by video message.



At the talk show, Ogiwara, Kurishima, and players from each team appeared and talked about various topics. When asked about his pre-Trial routine, Ogiwara answered, "Cleaning the bathroom," revealing that he prepares his mind and surroundings before Trial. When asked, "What comes to mind when you think of Saitama?" Kurishima replied, "Urawa Reds," and talked about the city of Urawa, saying that the whole town is dyed red and has a good atmosphere.

At the end of the talk festival, a raffle was held where a signed T-shirt was won by Urawa Reds supporter, bringing the event to a close.

"This was my first time participating in the Pride Dream Saitama Talk Festival since 2014, and I was happy and excited to be able to hold such an event in my hometown of Sayama. I like watching sports, and have been to basketball games before, but this time I got to join Matsuoka Hironao, a player from the Osaki Electric Handball Club, and we promised to go watch a game next time. Saitama has many sports teams, so I thought it would be good to have more opportunities to interact with each other. I believe that we cannot afford to lose a single game in order to win, so I would like to win each Trial that comes my way and ultimately become the champion.
