About the ☆ on the top of the club emblem

Thank you very much for your continued passionate support of Urawa Reds.

Approximately three months have passed since the conclusion of AFC Champions League (ACL) 2022 in May, and the battle to become the top of Asia is about to begin once again.
To date, Urawa Reds have expressed the J1 League and ACL titles they have won with a star (☆) above the club emblem on their uniforms, expressing pride and respect for the history of CHAMPIONS.

The uniform currently being worn has a star in the center representing the J1 League title from the 2006 season, and a star representing the ACL title from the 2007 and 2017 seasons on either side of it in a size larger than the J1 League title, for a total of 3 stars. The two ☆ are lined up.

Following the previous rules, the third ACL title won at ACL2022 in May would be represented by a star, which is larger than the J1 League title, but as a result of discussions and consideration within the club, the J1 I have come to the conclusion that the thoughts of a club that is working hard with the same passion for the league title and the ACL title should be aligned with the expression of the ☆.

Therefore, regarding the star at the top of the emblem that will be expressed in the future, the J1 League and ACL titles will be expressed in the same size star.

Together with everyone, all of our players and staff will continue to fight with all our heart and soul to increase the number of stars on our uniforms.
