Our club's future response policy

This incident is a folly that tarnishes the history of Japanese football that has been spun by our predecessors, and the goodwill of watching stadiums has been formed through the efforts of many football-related people, fans and supporters. As a person in the world of football and sports, it is extremely regrettable that I have damaged my image.
We understand that this is a matter of course, but in response to the occurrence of this incident, we have received opinions and criticisms from various quarters, most of which were related to the club's response to the violations that occurred.
Specifically, most of the comments were that the existing disciplinary standards of imposing penalties only in line with the guidelines should be revised, and many of our club members have expressed similar opinions.
We, Urawa Reds, would like to have as many people as possible come to like Urawa Reds and provide them with the joy of supporting them. Going forward, Urawa Reds believes that it is essential to review the disciplinary standards for violations, including stricter penalties.
It has been confirmed from records within the club that one of the above violators was banned from entering the club for violating acts such as violence in the past. We are determined to verify the legal bases and the safety and sustainability of the project from various angles, and work with a sense of urgency to create new standards while also borrowing the knowledge of external experts.
In addition to disciplinary action against the perpetrator, we understand that the JFA will notify our club of disciplinary action, but we take this very seriously and will of course take measures to prevent recurrence. In addition to responding in good faith, including internal disciplinary action, we will continue to actively cooperate with JFA to clarify the full extent of this incident.
Once again, we sincerely apologize to everyone who has been inconvenienced by this violation.
At Urawa Reds, we will maintain a safe, comfortable, and enthusiastic stadium with a stance that emphasizes dialogue with fans and supporters, a perspective as a member of society, and a timely, appropriate, and resolute response to violations. We will do our best to make it.
