Sato and Takeda visit Nakamachi Elementary School
On February 9th, Yota Sato and Hidetoshi Takeda visited Saitama City Nakamachi Elementary School, an elementary school in their hometown.
This time, with the cooperation and understanding of each school, club staff handed out invitation flyers to Saitama Stadium to a total of 53 elementary schools in the five wards of the former Urawa City and former Yono City. The players visited Nakamachi Elementary School in person and were able to interact with the children.
Sato and Takeda went around sixth grade classes and presented them with flyers inviting them to watch the game. I handed them to two representative children from each class, telling them, ``Please come to the stadium to support me.'' The children seemed very excited about the players' visit, and there were scenes where they spontaneously called out to the players. The two players interacted with the children with gentle expressions that were different from their usual practice, and although it was a short one-hour time, they had a fulfilling time.
