2024 Jリーグ開幕PRイベントに西川周作が出席

On the 19th, the ``2024 J League Opening PR Event'' was held in Tokyo. Representative players from all 20 J1 League clubs were in attendance, including Shusaku Nishikawa from Urawa Reds, who spoke with enthusiasm in front of the media and J League partners gathered at the venue in preparation for the start of the J1 League, which is just four days away. In the first stage event, players from each club took to the stage, and a talk session was held based on the opening match card.
Looking ahead to the opening game against Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Nishikawa's old club, he said, ``I was in Hiroshima for about four years starting in 2010, and ever since then I've been thinking about whether a stadium could be built in Hiroshima city. I heard that a wonderful stadium was built this time, and it's a great pleasure for us to be able to play the opening match against the strong Hiroshima team there.''He expressed his excitement and talked about the highlights of this season. When asked by a reporter about his current state of mind before the opening game, Nishikawa replied, ``I think we have prepared well so far.What I feel most is the expectations of those around me, and I have heard that voice from all the players.'' As expected, we want to enter the season with a high mindset.We want to do our best to win from the first game so we can get off to a good start.'' .
Nishikawa, the club, and the fans and supporters all want to win the J1 League title this season.
“Our fans and supporters are looking forward to winning the league for the first time since 2006, and we are also responsible for the expectations of winning the ACL (AFC Champions League) last year and winning the league this year. We have to show that we are strong, and we want to continue to show that we are a strong Urawa Reds,'' he said in front of reporters, expressing his resolve.

This season, Urawa Reds are working together to achieve the goal of winning the J1 League championship. Nishikawa himself strongly feels the importance of the existence of fans and supporters towards that end.
``I strongly believe that we can do our best because of our fans and supporters, and I am truly grateful for their strong support, whether it is home or away.I look forward to fighting together in the opening game as well. I want to deliver victory.”

The team's preparations are in full swing for the J1 League, which is about to start.
On Friday, February 23rd (holiday), the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Round 1 match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima, kicking off at 2:00 p.m.
With four days left, the team will continue to prepare well for the opening game in order to get off to a good start in the J1 League.
