Koroki “Let’s win as many titles as possible”

On the 25th, after public training, Shinzo Koroki was interviewed and talked about looking back on the first half of this season and his enthusiasm for the second half.

(Did you feel refreshed by turning it off?)
"I was able to take a break from soccer for a while to refresh myself, but I was tired from babysitting (lol). I took a trip to Okinawa. It was hot there too. I spent a lot of time in the pool (lol)."

(The second half of the season is about to begin, but first of all, how did you look back on the first half of the season?)
“We started off with two consecutive losses and were hoping to advance towards the ACL (AFC Champions League) final, so we were able to win the championship, but we gave it our all in the final and there were some tough times. There were some games where we couldn't win and ended up in a draw, but if you look at the overall situation, including the content, I feel like we're in a good position.I think we're still in a position where we can compete for the championship, and I think the challenge is from now on. ”

(I think the flow was to start by building the defense and then move on to the attack after the ACL finals. What do you want the team to do offensively?)
``Coach (Maciej Skorza) allows us to attack freely to a certain extent, so there are times when we have to do something individually, but it would be better if there was a way out, or if there was a unity of what to do when something like this happens. I think we'll do well. I think we'll be able to do better offense if we can improve our coordination by communicating with the players on the pitch as much as we have the freedom we have."

(Before entering the attacking third, isn't it possible for someone to hit Koroki and get targeted where Koroki drops it?)
``If we don't use the inside, we won't be able to play outside, so I think we can do better if we don't lose the ball when it goes in.I think we need to improve our individual performance.'' ”

(After the match against Shonan Bellmare on June 28th, you talked about ``staying forward as much as possible without lowering your position.'' Will that form give you a hint for the second half?)
``I think I'll survive better if I do that, and if I can play as far in front of the penalty area as possible, I think I'll naturally be able to score goals, and I think I'll win more games.''

(Wouldn't it be nice if Koroki players could surpass Koro?)
``We have Yasui (Kaito) below the top, and Yasui is also a player who plays from behind, so I think it is necessary to aim for the backside somehow. With the addition of new players, the team's I think it will lead to revitalization.”

(What do you expect from the new player Hiroki Abe?)
``I haven't played for two years due to injury, so I want him to improve his condition first.I think it would be cruel for Abe to play right away. I think it's okay to start in the middle.I think it would be good if he gradually works his way into the starting lineup. The rest is up to the coach to decide, but I want him to pursue individual results.Attack I think he can get into the setup and handle the ball, but right now there aren't many players who are that particular about assists and goals, so I want Abe to focus on that and show his difference. I haven't seen him play, so I'd like to continue communicating during practice."

(There is a possibility of four titles including the J League, YBC Levain Cup, Emperor's Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup, and if we win in the playoffs, we will also win the next ACL title, but it is exciting, but the schedule is also difficult.) Don't you have feelings?)
“I think if there are more games, there will be more opportunities for everyone. A season full of games is more rewarding than a season with not many games.Right now, I'm in a good place in all the tournaments, so I'm going to take each tournament seriously. I want to continue working hard and try my best to win as many titles as possible.”

(There will be consecutive battles starting in August, but is it likely to be an all-out war?)
``It's impossible for one player to play in every game, so it's up to the coach to decide whether to change the lineup for each game, but I think it's important for each person to be in good condition at all times.'' I have a chance, so I want to do my best.”
