Surprise visit to "Mr. Reds"

On March 14th, 15th and 16th, Ken Iwao, Atsushi Ito, and Atsuki Ito Ayumi Niekawa each visited elementary schools in their hometowns as Reds teachers and gave classes.

“Reds Sensei” is an initiative to teach athletes about having dreams based on their own experiences and the importance of family and friends who support them. It started with a visit to an elementary school in 2010, and has continued through online exchanges even after it became difficult to interact in person due to the corona crisis.

From 2020, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, it became an online class because it was not possible to interact directly. A surprise visit to an elementary school where classes were held online last year. I was able to meet him before he graduated and advanced to the next grade.

Surprise visit to each 4th grade classroom. We looked back on what we talked about in Professor Reds' online class, and we were able to interact through direct question exchange. After that, we went around the classrooms of each grade, and finally went to the 6th graders who were practicing for the graduation ceremony. I sent you a congratulatory message for your graduation.

Visited Dosodo Elementary School, which is also his alma mater. He made a surprise appearance from behind the 6th graders practicing for the graduation ceremony and sent a message to the graduates.
On the day of the event, the school also prepared a reverse surprise for Ito, and photos and essays from Ito's graduation album were projected on the screen, and I received a message from my homeroom teacher at the time.
* A video of the event will be posted on LINE NEWS on March 30 (Thursday).

■ Saitama Municipal Misono Kita Elementary School Ayumi Niekawa (Mr. Nie)
Thursday, March 16th
Visit the 6th grade classroom, look back on Mr. Reds' class, and have a question time. The children stand next to Sougawa and experience the height of 195 cm. After Socheon's visit was introduced on the school broadcast, they paraded through the corridors to each grade.
The calls of “Urawa Reds” and “Suegawa” rang out in the hallway, and we received a lot of cheers and energy.

Graduation gifts will be presented to the 6th graders of each school. In addition, all students were invited to a game on 4/15 (Sat) vs Sapporo "New Saitama Opening Welcome Day".
During this visit, the athletes were able to interact with many children face-to-face, and the athletes received energy and strength from the children's smiles and cheers.

"Reds Sensei" is held for children in their hometowns under the activity policy of Urawa Reds philosophy of "contributing to the healthy development of young people as a member of society." By interacting with children in the community, we will continue to make them feel more familiar with the club and players, and continue to send out messages that give children dreams, hopes, and courage.
