Socheon: "I was able to concentrate on the game thanks to the support of the fans and supporters."

On the 26th, after the J-League YBC Levain Cup Group Stage Round 2 match against Shimizu S-Pulse, Ayumi Niekawa talked about his first start since joining Urawa Reds, his impressions of the play content, and his future enthusiasm.

(It was your first official start since joining Urawa Reds, how did you feel before the match?)
"I was conscious of playing as usual."

(Since the beginning of the match, he has spent a lot of time one-sidedly attacking, and there weren't many opportunities to handle the ball with his hands, but it must have been a difficult development for a goalkeeper after a long absence.)
“I feel that I was able to concentrate and play while being stimulated by this environment and the support of the fans and supporters.”

(In the training camp, you said that kicking was a challenge, but today you made almost no mistakes and your feet were stable?)
“We tried to play while being conscious of our efforts from training, and to analyze our play properly.

(In contrast, there were many opportunities to play in the second half, but wouldn't it be difficult to deal with sudden arrivals?)
“Throughout the 90 minutes, we were prepared to deal with any situation, so I feel that our next challenge will be to be able to effectively repel the shots we conceded.”

(For the 20 minutes after conceding the goal, the opponent had the impression that the flow was taken away, but what was it like watching from behind?)
“I think it was the same at the end of the first half, but the opponent showed a lot of power and attacked with momentum after the goal. I think it's a good thing for us as a team, and if we can build up our game even more, make it our ball, and play to bring back the momentum, I think we'll be even better."

(In the sense that they didn't concede a goal in a row, I think Sagawa's save from the pinch right after conceding the goal was also important?)
“I feel that the fact that the ball came flying as I expected and that I was able to show what I was conscious of during the training was a big factor.”

(After joining the Reds, how much do you feel you have learned under GK coach Juan Miret in just over a year, and how much have you been able to show your strength in this game?)
“I was conscious of playing 100%, and I think there are issues that came up because I played 100% this time. want to go"

(In terms of appearances so far, I think Socheon will be the third goalkeeper of the Reds, but on the other hand, there are few teams where the third goalkeeper can achieve today's quality?)
“On the other hand, the environment where I can train with GKs of the Japan national team class from training is very stimulating for me, and in training, they are playing at a high level and playing as a reference. I feel that I was able to play calmly in actual matches because I was able to train in such a good environment.”

(How would you like to make use of today's experience for your next participation opportunity?)
“As a goalkeeper, you never know when a chance will come. I don't know when the next chance will come, but when the chance comes, I'll do my best to show everyone that I've grown even more than I did today."
