Akimoto: "I'm not satisfied with this, I want to show a strong Urawa Reds"
On the 18th, after the match against Albirex Niigata in Round 5 of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League, Takahiro Akimoto talked about his first goal of the season, his thoughts on the cheering from the fans and supporters after the game, and his enthusiasm for the future.

(How do you feel about the significance of your two consecutive victories at your home Urawa Komaba Stadium and three consecutive victories in the J1 League?)
“The first two games were a waste, and the match against (Yokohama F・) Marinos was my responsibility, so I thought I had to win back. I want to show a strong Urawa Reds.”
(I think it was the first time I went around the stadium by myself after the game since the individual chants were made, but what was it like listening to your chances by yourself?)
"It was a happy moment. I wanted to taste more."

“I want to aim when I can. However, it is important for the team to win first, and I am required to defend as a full-back, so I want to stick to keeping a clean sheet.”
