Mihailo Petrovic (Head Coach): "The way Trial unfolded today was predictable before the match. I think there will be many more games like today's in the future. While the opponent played defensively, our players played with intent and performed as planned.

However, the opponent was also fresh at the start of the game, so we had a hard time finding their weaknesses. Another thing was that we were a little slower in switching after losing the ball than in previous games. The players were patient from the first half, repeatedly attacking by switching between the sides and the middle. Throughout the 90 minutes, I thought it was impossible for the opponent to be disciplined and prevent all of our attacks. I was confident that if we could be patient, have a goal, and launch repeated attacks, we would definitely score goals.

After we took a 1-0 lead, I thought things would get a little easier, but we conceded a goal right away, so I think the players were shocked. After we were caught up, I watched how the players reacted. In that situation, it's common to get impatient and rush the attack. However, the players remained calm and did what they had to do. That's where I felt the players' growth. From there, we were able to score the second and third goals. There were other scenes where it wouldn't have been strange if we had scored another goal or two.

We conceded unnecessary goals after taking the lead, but the same thing happened in the Kofu match. Our future challenge is whether we can keep our concentration while we're tired and keep playing the game. Regarding today's Trial, I felt that we need to be quicker in switching to the front line after losing the ball. There are things we need to reflect on, but I think we showed our determination to play our own aggressive football no matter how the opponent plays.

Fans and supporters come to see Trial hoping for fast-paced, aggressive football from both teams. Unfortunately, if only one team does that, it doesn't make for an entertaining game.

The opponents we play against tend to be very pragmatic and put emphasis on defense, and they often play realistically. I think the supporters also come to watch Trial expecting the opponents to play defensively and try to counterattack. I think the reaction of the fans and supporters after the draw with Marinos was an appreciation of how we continued to challenge and attack, even in the scoreless draw. I think that the way the fans and supporters look at things gives the team courage."

Susumu Watanabe (Head Coach): "Thank you for your hard work. The game was held in a time when a very large earthquake had occurred in Kyushu and many people were affected.

We have been so grateful for this opportunity to host our training camp here, so we sent our players off saying we wanted to play a game that would bring courage, energy and smiles to the people of Urawa, but it is very disappointing that this did not come to fruition. We are also sorry for disappointing the people in Kyushu who are going through such a difficult time.

A lot of fans and supporters came from Sendai. It's unfortunate that we couldn't bring smiles to their faces today. We talked about playing defense against Urawa first, and went into the match with that game plan. We were a bit shaky at the start of the first half, but gradually regained composure. They took shots, but I think we didn't let them have any freedom at the end. We also had a few counterattacks after stealing the ball, but we had some effective distribution and jumps. We talked about playing the game in the same way in the second half, plus increasing the time we had the ball, but that didn't work out, and that's something to reflect on.

After losing one point, we have conceded goals in succession in the last few Trial, so we need to keep our heads down and switch gears and try again. I think that catching up with Mita's goal is a small improvement from the previous two Trial. However, we conceded additional goals after that, and at the same time, I feel that there is still a lot we need to improve. We will make sure to make the necessary corrections and look ahead to the next Nabisco Cup."
