Held "Saitama Soccer Festa 2022"

On November 20th (Sun), the "Saitama Soccer Festa" was held for the first time in three years at NACK5 Stadium Omiya. Although there was concern about rain on the day of the event, there was almost no rain during the event, and about 1,850 people came to enjoy the event.

In the three types of soccer for people with disabilities (blind, low vision, and amputee), the participants were able to experience unfamiliar and unfamiliar movements and deepen their understanding of people with disabilities.






[Omiya vs Urawa Dream Match]
"Dream Match" was the first project this time. This is truly a "dream match" where you can play soccer (*Walking soccer this time) with regular participants, mixed with current and retired players. Active Urawa Reds players include Ayumi Niekawa and Kai Matsuzaki. After the dream match ended, a ceremony and a commemorative photo were taken.









[Omiya vs Urawa OB special match]
The annual main event. It was a difficult development with Omiya leading by 3 points, but in the second half, Nishizawa's consecutive goals and Chishima's goal tied the score. After that, it went back and forth, and even though both sides missed the deciding opportunity, in the end, they conceded a regrettable winning goal in stoppage time and lost the game. After the match, a bouquet of flowers was given to the players who retired during the period when the soccer festival could not be held.

At the pitch level, the mascots and women's players of both teams gather. Shiori Fukuda participated from Reds Ladies and casually responded to requests for photos from fans and supporters who came to the event.



Next year, Urawa Reds will host the tournament, which is scheduled to be held at Urawa Komaba Stadium.
