- “It was a very hard game with a lot of ball-fighting. It was the first official match of the season for both teams, so it was a very difficult game for both of us. In the second half, Suwon Samsung Blue Wings showed an offensive attitude to steal the ball from the front. In the midst of all that, we lost a goal in an unfortunate way.
However, after being caught up, the team recovered and I think we were able to control the game. In that situation, Ugajin and Abe had decisive chances, but we conceded a goal from a set-play in the final stages of the match. I don't think the set-piece was intentionally targeted by the opponent, but we conceded a goal there. I am very sorry for the loss. Looking at the content of the game and the number of chances, I think a draw was the appropriate result. We lost the first match, but we want to do our best in the remaining five matches to advance through this group stage.”
