PARTNER STORY

All the partners who support Urawa Reds in various ways.
We will talk about the history of the partners and the Reds behind it, as well as their passion.

Pia was born in 1972. At that time, the word "information magazine" that we take for granted today did not even exist. It started with the launch of the magazine "Pia".

The word "pia" has the meaning of meaningless. Without being bound by the image of existing words, it was named with the idea that "I want readers to have a specific meaning and image for the first time when it becomes a magazine that will be accepted by many people in the future." . That feeling has been inherited even now, when the form has changed from a magazine to an app.

The feelings that have remained unchanged since the time when Pia was founded in Nakano Sakaue's cheap apartment, and still run at the root of the people who work at Pia now that it has become one of Japan's largest entertainment business companies. That is, "Play" is the origin of all imagination. Lifelines in the 20th century, which was the era of "things," were for life support such as electricity, gas, and water. Pia believes that the lifeline of the 21st century, the era of "mind", must be an infrastructure that supports the richness of the heart, making everyday life lively and inspiring. We want to support each person's lively life in the 21st century by building a "lifeline of excitement". That is Pia's dream and mission.

"Each person is alive." Pia's philosophy overlaps with Urawa Reds' "Reds Wonderland". "Reds Wonderland" is a stadium full of smiles from children to the elderly, and an extraordinary space that makes you feel excited just by being there. Pia has become a partner of Urawa Reds with the idea that delivering that excitement to more fans and supporters will lead to the realization of a "lifeline of excitement".

Pia and Urawa Reds have a long history as a partner. Before the start of the J-League in 1993, Ticket Pia, which was established in April 1984, was engaged in ticket sales. So far, we have created various services together, including hometown lottery advance sales, but we believe that tickets are a "bridge" that connects Urawa Reds and fans and supporters. We are selling tickets with the passion that "we are helping as many people as possible to feel more familiar with Urawa Reds".

In 2020, the entertainment industry is in crisis due to the effects of the new coronavirus. The J-League was also forced to suspend for about four months from the end of February. It resumed in early July, and after the match without spectators, the match with spectators began to be held, but as of the end of August, the "super high alert" where the spectators are limited to 5000 people or less continues. No one knows what kind of future awaits, as the restrictions on the number of people who were originally supposed to be lifted from August 1 have been extended.

In the midst of such a crisis, Pia, who has served as a bridge between various genres of entertainment and customers for many years, is thinking about ways to protect not only the organizers but also the venues, artists, athletes, and staff on a daily basis. One of them is [Entertainment Supporter Ticket]. It was also released at Urawa Reds as "[Entertainment Supporter Ticket] Let's send thoughts to Urawa Urawa Reds!", and received support from many people.

Pia has a desire to become a bridge between entertainment and customers and realize a “moving lifeline”, so Pia is thinking not only of the Urawa Reds club, but also of its fans and supporters.

“It will continue to be a very difficult situation in terms of watching the game at the stadium, but I believe that Pia's mission is to provide various backups so that fans and supporters can enjoy the game with peace of mind. In the future, the style of watching games may change significantly, including measures to prevent infection, but I would like to overcome this situation and aim for a stadium where you can experience the excitement and excitement unique to Urawa Reds. Let's do our best together for further development and success of Urawa Reds!"

Clubs, fans and supporters, the bridge between them. Soccer, a professional sport and entertainment, cannot exist without any of them. In order for Urawa Reds and the fans and supporters to work hand in hand, Pia will no doubt continue to give them great strength.
